I specialize in working with folks who may experience the world more intensely than others. I work frequently with those who identify as Highly Sensitive Persons, or HSPs. I also love working with creatives and people concerned with social or environmental change. It can feel isolating to see the world differently than others, especially when friends and family don't seem to understand the forces that motivate you. Together we can process your experiences, make friends with your emotions, minimize burnout, and increase feelings of connectedness.
If you have feelings of depression, anxiety, are dealing with grief or loss, are a survivor of childhood trauma, or are a caregiver, we will work together to increase your well-being and gain tools to thrive.
My clinical approach is informed by the following modalities: psychodynamic therapy, relational therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, strengths-based therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I have completed training in Climate Aware Therapy from the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America. I have experience working with clients of many backgrounds, identities, and immigration histories, and am an LGBTQ- and neurodiversity-affirming clinician.
